Giants' Thomas Fidone: Targeting training camp return
Head coach John Harbaugh told reporters Wednesday that Fidone underwent a clean-up procedure for his foot injury and is expected to return for training camp, John Fennelly of USA Today reports.
Fidone appeared in seven games for the Giants during his rookie campaign, failing to record an offensive statistic while playing 94 total snaps (80 on special teams, 14 on offense). Once fully healthy, the Nebraska product will likely compete for a depth spot in New York's tight end room.

Giants' Abdul Carter: Nursing ankle sprain
Carter did not practice Tuesday or Wednesday after spraining his ankle Monday, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Leonard also noted that Carter had his ankle tightly wrapped during Wednesday's walkthrough, but it's an encouraging sign that he's not wearing a boot. The 22-year-old edge rusher is targeting a return for the beginning of training camp.

Giants' Malik Nabers: At 80 percent mark in rehab process
Giants coach John Harbaugh said Wednesday that he's "very hopeful" Nabers (knee) will "be back soon," estimating that the wideout has completed 70-to-80 percent of his rehab process, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
It sounds much more optimistic than Harbaugh's quotes from three weeks prior (May 21), when he told reports that Nabers was in the "slog of [his rehab], the grind of it." Harbaugh now estimates that the star wideout is three-fourths of the way through his rehab, which perhaps sounds promising yet still makes Nabers highly unlikely to be ready for the start of training camp. While the Giants have yet to comment on expectations for the regular season, fantasy managers should assume a high level of risk that Nabers isn't ready for Week 1. His injury entailed a a meniscus tear in addition to an ACL tear, and he had a procedure in April to remove scar tissue that formed after the initial surgery (Oct. 28).

Giants' Cam Skattebo: Doing 11-on-11 drills Tuesday
Skattebo (ankle) is participating in team drills at Tuesday's practice, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
After doing individual work at Monday's minicamp practice, Skattebo graduated to 11-on-11 work Tuesday, suggesting he's at or near 100 percent health coming off ankle surgery. Already seen doing standing back flips this offseason, Skattebo seems ready to roll for the start of training camp next month. He's expected to have a leg up on Tyrone Tracy for the top job in the Giants' backfield under new coach John Harbaugh and OC Matt Nagy.

Giants' Abdul Carter: Twists ankle
Head coach John Harbaugh told reporters that Carter twisted his ankle during Monday's practice, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Harbaugh added that the injury "doesn't look serious," but the Giants likely will be cautious with Carter's health ahead of the 2026 season. Carter, the No. 3 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft, posted solid numbers during his rookie campaign, recording 43 total tackles, including 4.0 sacks, and two forced fumbles across 17 contests.

Giants' Beaux Collins: Working with trainer
Collins (concussion) was spotted working with trainers on the side at practice Monday, Dan Duggan of The Athletic reports.
It appears Collins has still not returned to full health after missing the Giants' final eight games last season with a neck injury and a concussion. The Notre Dame product caught two of six targets for 25 yards across nine contests in 2025, contributing on both offense (84 snaps) and special teams (110 snaps). Once fully healthy, Collins is expected to compete for a similar role ahead of the 2026 campaign.

Giants' Cam Skattebo: Taking part in drills at minicamp
Skattebo (ankle) took part in running and agility drills at the first day of mandatory minicamp Monday, Jordan Raanan of ESPN.com reports.
Skattebo, who said in mid-May that he expects to be ready for Week 1 of the 2026 regular season, is roughly eight months removed from the dislocated right ankle that limited him to eight games as a rookie. While it doesn't yet appear that the 2025 fourth-round pick has been cleared for full team drills, it's encouraging to see him demonstrate lateral quickness in on-field individual drills. The Giants may be targeting training camp in July as the next major step forward in Skattebo's recovery.

Giants' Roy Robertson-Harris: Could return this season
Robertson-Harris was not placed on the Giants' injured reserve list after tearing his Achilles at practice in May, Evan Barnes of Newsday reports.
Coach John Harbaugh said he believes Robertson-Harris could play at some point during the 2026 campaign, so at least for now, he's avoiding IR. Until he's available again, veteran Shelby Harris could be called upon for additional work on the defensive line with the first team.

Giants' Gunner Olszewski: Moves to IR
Olszewski (Achilles) was placed on injured reserve by the Giants on Monday, Dan Salomone of the team's official site reports.
The kick and punt returner tore his Achilles during OTAs on Friday and now will have to miss the 2026 campaign. Olszewski was in line to retain the returner role he played for New York in 2025.
