Richardson missed the first five games of the 2024 season with a hamstring injury, but once he returned, he provided the Raiders with a valuable addition to the secondary. The rookie finished with the third-highest amount of tackles at cornerback on the team behind Jack Jones and Nate Hobbs. Richardson could step into a more prominent role in 2025 with Hobbs heading into the offseason as a free agent.

Raiders' Decamerion Richardson: Team-high tackle total in loss
Richardson finished with eight tackles (five solo) and a pass breakup in Sunday's 29-19 loss to the Broncos.
The rookie, who missed the first five games of the season with a hamstring injury, also played on every defensive snap for the first time this season. Richardson played on 97 percent of the defensive snaps in Week 11 after seeing 38 combined defensive snaps over the previous four games. The fourth-round pick's status for next week will likely depend on the availability of Jakorian Bennett (shoulder) and Nate Hobbs (ankle).

Richardson (hamstring) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Steelers, Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.com reports.
Richardson missed the Raiders' first five games this season due to a hamstring injury sustained at the beginning of September. However, the rookie out of Mississippi State upgraded from limited work Thursday to a full practice Friday, suggesting he's moved past his hamstring issue. He's expected to serve as a depth piece in the Raiders' secondary in his NFL debut.
