Top Tip Reiman News

  • Cardinals' Tip Reiman: Sticks primarily to blocking

Reiman totaled six catches (on seven targets) for 37 yards and no touchdowns in 17 contests during the 2024 campaign.

While Trey McBride (147 targets) and, to a much lesser extent, Elijah Higgins (24 targets) handled the vast majority of the receiving reps among Cardinals tight ends, Reiman actually ranked second in snap share among the trio as a rookie third-round pick. Behind McBride's 89.3 percent, Reiman (41.2 percent) saw the field more than Higgins (38.0 percent), even though both played a full slate of games. All three are under contract for 2025, so Reiman likely will remain a fantasy non-entity.

  • Cardinals' Tip Reiman: Nabs 14-yard reception in Week 14

Reiman turned in his lone target into a 14-yard reception in Sunday's 30-18 loss to the Seahawks.

Reiman played 23 of the Cardinals' 71 snaps on offense and looks to have surpassed Elijah Higgins on the depth chart as Arizona's No. 2 tight end behind starter Trey McBride. The rookie out of Illinois has played more snaps than Higgins in each of the past three games, but he typically hasn't seen much involvement in the passing attack while McBride and the Cardinals' receivers have drawn most of the attention from quarterback Kyler Murray. Through 13 appearances on the season, Reiman has yet to find the end zone while recording four receptions for 29 yards on four targets.

  • Cardinals' Tip Reiman: Hauls in short target

Reiman recorded a one-yard reception on his lone target and played 30 of the Cardinals' 57 snaps on offense in Monday's 17-15 win over the Chargers.

Trey McBride remains Arizona's top tight end, but Reiman joined him on the field for the Cardinals' first snap and was credited with a start while the team opened the game in 12 personnel. Reiman went on to finish second in snaps among Arizona's tight end group, trailing only McBride (54) but finishing ahead of Elijah Higgins (21). The 6-foot-4, 273-pound Reiman is regarded as a strong blocker, but Higgins is the superior receiving threat and ended up serving as the primary replacement for McBride in a loss to the Commanders in Week 4, when McBride was sidelined with a concussion.

  • Cardinals' Tip Reiman: Still without a target

Reiman wasn't targeted while playing 20 of 66 offensive snaps (34 precent) during Sunday's 20-13 defeat to the Lions.

The rookie third-round pick earned the first start of his career Week 3, but the blocking specialist has yet to see his initial target as a pro. There's a chance for more reps in the short term with starting TE Trey McBride entering the concussion protocol in the wake of Sunday's game, but even if he misses this coming Sunday's contest versus the Commanders, Elijah Higgins is the best bet at the position to garner looks from QB Kyler Murray on the Cardinals' active roster. As a result, Reiman likely won't hold much sway in terms of fantasy even if McBride is out Week 4.

  • Cardinals' Tip Reiman: Good to go for Week 1

Reiman (ankle) is active for Sunday's game against the Bills, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.

Reiman was tagged as questionable for Sunday's game after logging three consecutive limited practice sessions this week, but he is good to go for the regular-season opener. The rookie third-round pick will serve in a depth capacity at tight end behind Trey McBride and Elijah Higgins.
