Nick Leverett: Gets cut
New England cut Leverett on Monday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Leverett played 100 percent of the Patriots' offensive snaps in Week 5 versus the Dolphins, so it's a bit surprising to see him on his way out entirely just over a week later. Ben Brown figures to serve as New England's starting center for the foreseeable future.

Patriots' Nick Leverett: Joining Patriots
Leverett and the Patriots agreed on a contract Wednesday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Leverett started 10 games for the Buccaneers at offensive guard in 2022, and he'll now have an opportunity to compete for a starting role with New England. As a 27-year-old, Leverett still has plenty of tread left on his tires.

Buccaneers' Nick Leverett: Signs tender with Bucs
Leverett signed his exclusive rights tender with the Buccaneers on Monday, which means he has recovered from his knee injury, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Leverett will remain in Tampa Bay for the 2023 season after gaining medical clearance and signing his tender as an exclusive rights free agent. The offensive guard started 10 games last season but missed Tampa Bay's playoff loss to the Cowboys due to the now-healed knee issue.

Buccaneers' Nick Leverett: Signs exclusive rights tender
Leverett has signed the exclusive rights tender he received from the Buccaneers in March, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Leverett will remain in Tampa Bay for another season in 2023 after he started the final 10 games of the 2022 campaign. The 26-year-old will look to be a fixture on the offensive line as the Buccaneers transition to a new quarterback under center this season.

Buccaneers' Nick Leverett: Sticking with Bucs for another year
The Buccaneers extended the tender offer to Leverett (knee) on Friday, per the team's official site.
Leverett is now set to become an exclusive rights free agent, so he'll ultimately remain with Tampa Bay in 2023 because he's now unable to negotiate with other NFL teams following Friday's transaction. The 26-year-old guard started for the Buccaneers throughout all of their final 10 games this past campaign, and he's currently in line to block for a new signal caller this season given Tom Brady's recent retirement.

Buccaneers' Nick Leverett: Sitting out wild-card round
Leverett (knee) has been deemed inactive ahead of Monday's playoff game versus the Cowboys.
Leverett was limited by a knee injury during practice Thursday and sat out Friday's and Saturday's sessions due to this issue. As a result, the 26-year-old will be forced to miss this home playoff matchup against the Cowboys' dangerous pass rush. In his stead, rookie Luke Goedeke is the top candidate to start at left guard Monday night, according to Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times.
