Eagles' Kenyon Green: Traded to Philadelphia
The Texans are trading Green to the Eagles on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The Texans will send Green and a 2026 fifth-round pick to Philadelphia in exchange for C.J. Gardner-Johnson and a sixth-round pick. Green had a disappointing three years in Houston, missing the entirety of the 2023 season due to a shoulder injury and only starting nine regular-season games in 2024.

Texans' Kenyon Green: Activated Wednesday
Green (shoulder) was activated off injured reserve Wednesday.
The 2022 first-round pick from Texas A&M practiced in full Tuesday and has now been activated from injured reserve, paving the way for him to return for Houston's Week 16 matchup against the Chiefs. With Green back at full health, he's expected to serve as one of the Texans' top reserve guards Saturday.

Green (shoulder) has been ruled out for Sunday's matchup with the Dolphins.
The offensive guard was designated to return from injured reserve Dec. 9, opening his 21-day window to practice with the team. Despite the designation, Green will now miss his fifth game in a row. The 2022 first-round pick has started all nine contests he's played in this season and 23 of 24 since joining the Texans.

Green (shoulder) was designated to return from injured reserve Monday, Jonathan M. Alexander of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Green missed the minimum four games while tending to a shoulder injury. He'll now have a 21-day window to practice with the team before needing to be placed on the 53-man roster or reverting to injured reserve for the remainder of the season. If healthy enough, he could suit up Sunday against the Dolphins.

Texans' Kenyon Green: Set to be placed on IR
Green (shoulder) is expected to be placed on injured reserve in the near future, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Green suffered a separated shoulder in Thursday's 21-13 loss to the Jets, which will sideline him for the foreseeable future. The offensive guard does have a chance at making a return late in the season depending on how well he progresses in rehab, according to Rapoport. In the meantime, Kendrick Green will likely take over at left guard for Houston.
