49ers' Jauan Jennings: Leads team with 10 targets
Jennings finished with seven receptions on 10 targets for 52 yards in Sunday's 47-24 loss to Arizona. He was ejected in the second quarter for fighting with a Cardinals player.
Jennings took over as the 49ers' No. 1 option due to Deebo Samuel (ribs/wrist) sitting out Sunday's regular-season finale. The 26-year-old Jennings had a career year in 2024, setting new highs in receptions (77), yards (975) and touchdowns (six) while primarily filling in for Brandon Aiyuk (knee) midseason, though his combativeness may have cost him his first 1,000-yard season after getting ejected with a half-plus left to play. The upstart receiver will now enter the second year of a two-year contract reconstruction, with the possibility of continuing his elevated role for the 49ers in 2025.

Jennings turned in another routine performance that would have pleased those playing in PPR and deeper fantasy formats. The veteran starter's stats seem dwarfed in a game that featured two 100-yard receivers for San Francisco. Jennings inched closer to his first 1,000-yard campaign Monday, needing just 77 receiving yards against the Cardinals in Week 18 in order to accomplish the feat.

Jennings caught four of six targets for 51 yards in Sunday's 29-17 loss to the Dolphins.
Jennings took a back seat to San Francisco's remaining healthy star players (Deebo Samuel and George Kittle) to finish with a modest stat line in Sunday's loss. The 27-year-old Jennings upped his season totals to 63-856-6 through 13 games this year. Jennings' expanded role in 2024 has kept his floor high for fantasy managers, and the same could be said for next Monday's tilt against the Lions.

49ers' Jauan Jennings: Highly inefficient in loss
Jennings secured two of nine targets for 31 yards in the 49ers' 12-6 loss to the Rams on Thursday night.
Just four days after bringing in seven of eight targets -- a pair of touchdown grabs among them -- against the Bears, Jennings saw a team-high target total in Thursday's rainy conditions but was highly inefficient. The veteran wideout entered Thursday with a solid 73.1 percent catch rate on the season, and his struggles led to his lowest yardage total since Week 6. Jennings will aim to bounce back against a talented Dolphins secondary in a Week 16 road interconference battle on Sunday, Dec. 22.
