  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Gains clearance after full practice

Schultz (shoulder/illness) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Titans after practicing without limitations Friday. Schultz didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday but will be available Sunday after Friday's full session. He followed the same practice regimen Week 9 and performed well against the Broncos, catching six of eight passes for 77 yards. Schultz has at least five catches in six of his last seven games.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Back at practice Friday

Schultz (shoulder/illness) returned to practice Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Schultz, who continues to manage a shoulder injury and also was listed as dealing with an illness when he missed his second consecutive practice Thursday, is expected to play Sunday against the Titans, per Wilson. Friday's final injury report is destined to reveal whether the tight end heads into the weekend with a designation or fully cleared to face Tennessee.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Still not practicing

Schultz (shoulder) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Schultz didn't practice Wednesday, so the tight end's status will need to be monitored ahead of Sunday's game against the Titans. Back in Week 9, when Schultz was managing knee and shoulder issues, he was held out of practice Wednesday and Thursday before returning to a full session Friday. Though not a lock to occur, a similar scenario unfolding this time around remains plausible.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Starting Tight Ends

Schultz has now scored at least 13.7 PPR points in three of his past four games after he had a big outing against Jacksonville in Week 10 with seven catches for 53 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets. He only had five catches for 30 yards on six targets in Week 4 against Tennessee, but I expect him to perform better in the rematch. The Titans have allowed two touchdowns to tight ends in their past four games, and four guys over that span have scored at least 9.1 PPR points. Davis Mills appears in line to start again for the Texans with C.J. Stroud (concussion) hurt, and Mills just helped Schultz have his big game against the Jaguars.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Doesn't practice Wednesday

Schultz (shoulder) didn't practice Wednesday. Schultz was managing knee and shoulder issues last week, but now he's listed only with a shoulder injury on the Texans' initial Week 11 injury report. So far we haven't heard anything to suggest that the tight end's status for Sunday's game against the Titans is in danger, so it's possible that Schultz's absence from Wednesday's session was maintenance-related. A return to practice Thursday -- in any capacity -- would support that notion.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Week 11 Streamers (TE Preview)

Schultz has scored at least 11 PPR Fantasy points in four of his last five games and he has at least six targets in six of his last seven games. He may not finish quite as high as we have him ranked this week but he should have a floor of nine or ten PPR Fantasy points with this usage.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Week 11 Waiver Priority List

Schultz had another big game in Week 10 against Jacksonville with seven catches for 53 yards and a touchdown on 11 targets, and he has now scored at least 13.7 PPR points in three of his past four games. He has 19 targets in his past two outings against the Broncos and Jaguars, and Schultz should be considered a low-end No. 1 Fantasy tight end for the remainder of the season, especially in Week 11 at Tennessee. Schultz is worth adding in all leagues for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Gets into end zone in Week 10

Schultz caught seven of 11 targets for 53 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 36-29 win over the Jaguars. The veteran tight end saw a season high in targets and topped 50 receiving yards for the fourth time in the last five games, this time with Davis Mills at QB instead of C.J. Stroud (concussion). Schultz capped his day with his first TD of the season, a seven-yard strike from Mills in the fourth quarter as the Texans put together a stunning comeback from a 29-10 deficit. Schultz will take a 45-438-1 line on 59 targets through nine contests into a Week 11 tilt against the Titans.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Sleeper TEs

Schultz comes into Week 10 having scored at least 11 PPR points in three of his past four games, and he had six catches for 77 yards on eight targets against Denver in Week 9. C.J. Stroud (concussion) is out this week against Jacksonville, but Schultz should do fine with Davis Mills against the Jaguars. Schultz had five catches for 39 yards on six targets at Jacksonville in Week 3, and the Jaguars are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. A tight end has scored at least 10.1 PPR points against Jacksonville in five games in a row, and Schultz will hopefully follow suit in this matchup.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Upgrades to full practice

Schultz (knee/shoulder) was a full participant in Thursday's practice. Schultz has been listed on Houston injury reports with the knee and shoulder issues for three straight weeks, but he's played in the previous two games and is on track to suit up once again this Sunday versus the Jaguars. The veteran tight end turned in one of his better performances of the season in the Texans' Week 9 loss to the Broncos, finishing with six catches for 77 yards on eight targets.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Sleepers (Start/Sit)

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Logs limited practice Wednesday

Schultz (knee/shoulder) was limited at practice Wednesday. Schultz, who continues to manage knee and shoulder issues, didn't practice either Wednesday or Thursday last week before logging a full practice Friday and playing in the Texans' Week 9 loss to the Broncos, a game in which he caught six of his eight targets for a team-high 77 yards. With no reported setbacks in that contest, the tight end's listed limitations Wednesday are presumably maintenance-related.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Contrarian DFS Play

Did you see what Brock Bowers just did to this defense? No, Schultz isn't Bowers and he won't match his production, but the Rams tight ends combined for 24.1 points against Jacksonville the week before. Schultz had a small slump in the middle of the year which we think was due to injury but he looked great last week turning eight targets into 13.7 PPR points without a touchdown.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Week 10 Waiver Priority List

Schultz had another solid outing in Week 9 against Denver with six catches for 77 yards on eight targets, and he has now scored at least 11 PPR points in three of his past four games. We'll see what happens with C.J. Stroud (concussion) in Week 10 against Jacksonville, but Davis Mills should continue to lean on Schultz as the No. 2 option in the Houston passing attack behind Nico Collins. And the Jaguars are No. 2 in most Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends, so Schultz should be considered a low-end starter in this matchup. He's worth adding in all leagues for 5-10 percent of your remaining FAB.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Expected to play Sunday

Schultz (knee), who is questionable to suit up Sunday against Denver, is expected to play, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Schultz logged a DNP/DNP/FP practice progression during the week, which has set him up to likely play against the Broncos. He'll look to rebound after posting season-low totals of two catches and 24 receiving yards against San Francisco in Week 8.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Sleeper TEs

Nico Collins (concussion) and Christian Kirk (hamstring) are both likely out in Week 8 against San Francisco, which would make Schultz the No. 1 option in the passing game for C.J. Stroud. In Week 7 at Seattle, with Kirk sidelined and Collins injured, Schultz stepped up with nine catches for 98 yards on 10 targets. He's also scored at least eight PPR points in four games in a row, and the 49ers have allowed six tight ends to score at least 10.1 PPR points this season, including two in a row with Cade Otton and Kyle Pitts. Schultz has top-10 upside in all formats in Week 8.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Questionable for Sunday

Schultz (knee/shoulder) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Broncos after practicing fully Friday. After not practicing Wednesday or Thursday, Schultz's return to a full session Friday bodes well for his Week 9 status, with Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston noting that the tight end is expected to be available for Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET contest. If he does play against Denver, Schultz will be joined in the Texans' lineup by WRs Nico Collins (concussion) and Christian Kirk (hamstring), who are both slated to return to action this weekend. Overall, Schultz has compiled a 32-308-0 line on 40 targets through seven games to date, a pace that keeps him on the fantasy radar in most formats.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Not practicing Thursday

Schultz (knee/shoulder) wasn't spotted at practice Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Schultz also missed Wednesday's session, but coach DeMeco Ryans noted afterward that he expected the tight end to return to the field later in the week. With that in mind, the focus turns to what, if anything, Schultz does at Friday's practice, and in turn how the Texans list him on their final injury report ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Sit Tight Ends

I had high hopes for Schultz in Week 8 against San Francisco with Nico Collins (concussion) and Christian Kirk (hamstring) out, but Schultz only had two catches for 24 yards on three targets. He's playing through knee and shoulder injuries, but prior to Week 8, he scored at least 8.0 PPR points in four games in a row. This week, Schultz should struggle again in another tough matchup with the Broncos, who are No. 8 in fewest Fantasy points allowed to opposing tight ends. And Collins should be healthy as well. I would only start Schultz in deeper leagues in Week 9 given the matchup.

  • Texans' Dalton Schultz: Not practicing

Schultz (undisclosed) isn't practicing Wednesday but is expected to return later this week, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. He was listed with back and shoulder injuries last week but was cleared to play Friday on the final injury report. Schultz then played into the fourth quarter of a 26-15 win over the 49ers, though he appeared to be in pain and briefly left the game at one point. He still managed a 77 percent route share, tied for second on the team, while catching two of three targets for 24 yards. It sounds like Schultz is banged up but still expected to play this Sunday against the Broncos.
