Chargers' Khalil Mack: Extends sack streak
Mack recorded two tackles (two solo), including 1.0 sacks, during Thursday's 37-10 win versus the Vikings.
Mack brought down quarterback Carson Wentz in the middle of the third quarter to force a Minnesota punt, and he now has a sack in each of the last three games he's played in. He projects to get more opportunities to rush the passer in Week 9 against a pass-dependent Tennessee attack.

Chargers' Khalil Mack: Cleared to return Week 7
Mack (elbow) is active for Sunday's game against the Colts.
Mack was activated off injured reserve Saturday, and the veteran edge rusher has been cleared to return from a four-game absence. His return means there will be less snaps on defense to go around for Bud Dupree, Odafe Oweh and rookie fourth-rounder Kyle Kennard.

Chargers' Khalil Mack: Off IR, remains questionable
The Chargers activated Mack (elbow) from injured reserve Saturday, but he's still listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Colts.
Mack's window to come off IR opened Wednesday, and despite being limited in practice all week, the veteran edge rusher is expected to make his return Sunday after recovering from an elbow injury sustained in Week 2 against the Raiders, according to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. Mack may be slowly eased into action in his first game back, but his return means Odafe Oweh, Bud Dupree and rookie fourth-rounder Kyle Kennard all are in jeopardy of seeing their snap counts on defense decrease.

Chargers' Khalil Mack: Practice window opened
The Chargers designated Mack (elbow) to return from injured reserve Wednesday, Eric Smith of the team's official site reports.
Mack suffered an elbow injury during the Chargers' Week 2 win against the Raiders, which was severe enough for him to be placed on injured reserve. The veteran edge rusher has missed the minimum four games required while on IR and he has progressed enough in his recovery to be cleared to return to practice. Mack's level of participation in practice in the coming week will determine whether he will be given the green light to play against the Colts on Sunday.
