Dolphins' Jordan Poyer: Finishes 2024 with 98 tackles
Poyer racked up 98 tackles (51 solo) and three pass breakups across 16 regular-season appearances with the Dolphins in 2024.
Poyer missed one game due to injury in Week 5 against the Titans, but when healthy, the 33-year-old safety was essentially an every-down player for the Dolphins. He operated as one of the more reliable aspects of Miami's secondary in 2024 despite not making many impact plays, as he finished the year without any INTs or sacks. The veteran safety will become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.

Dolphins' Jordan Poyer: Good to go for Week 18
Poyer (knee/finger) doesn't carry an injury designation into Sunday's game against the Jets, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Poyer missed practice Wednesday and Thursday but got in a limited session Friday and will play Sunday as Miami fights for the No. 7 seed in the AFC playoffs. Through 15 games, all starts, this season, Poyer has logged 90 tackles (47 solo) and three pass breakups in the Dolphins' secondary.

Dolphins' Jordan Poyer: Doesn't practice Wednesday
Poyer (knee/finger) was held out of practice Wednesday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Poyer also missed the Dolphins' first practice last week with the knee and finger issues, but he was ultimately able to suit up for Sunday's win over Cleveland. Miami must win its Week 18 game against the Jets in order to have any chance of making the playoffs, so Poyer is likely to do everything he can to be on the field. If he can't suit up, though, Elijah Campbell would likely start in his stead.

Dolphins' Jordan Poyer: Logs six tackles against Cleveland
Poyer registered six tackles (four solo) and one pass defense during the Dolphins' 20-3 win over the Browns on Sunday.
Poyer and Storm Duck finished Sunday's game as the Dolphins' third-leading tacklers behind Tyrel Dodson (15) and Jordyn Brooks (nine). Poyer has recorded at least six combined tackles in 12 of 15 games, and on the year he's totaled 90 tackles (47 solo) and three pass defenses. He'll look to reach the century mark in tackling for the second straight year (and fifth time in his NFL career) during the Dolphins' regular-season finale against the Jets next Sunday.
