  • Suns' Collin Gillespie: Quiet in start

Gillespie posted four points (1-6 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 2-2 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and one steal across 26 minutes during Wednesday's 127-121 win over Chicago.

Making his second career start, Gillespie had another quiet showing in the absence of Bradley Beal. In his last two starts, Gillespie has shot a combined 2-of-10 from the field with averages of 3.5 points, 4.5 assists and 3.5 rebounds. He's only on the radar in deeper fantasy leagues at the moment.

  • Suns' Cody Martin: Records three steals

Martin racked up seven points (3-6 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, one block and three steals in 17 minutes during Wednesday's 127-121 win over the Bulls.

Martin now has three games under his belt with Phoenix after a lengthy injury absence. He holds averages of 2.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.5 steals in 14.0 minutes in that span. He's worth monitoring in deeper formats in case his minutes continue to trend in the right direction.

  • Suns' Ryan Dunn: Plays well in fill-in role

Dunn ended Wednesday's 127-121 win over the Bulls with 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 0-1 FT), five rebounds, one block and one steal in 29 minutes.

Injuries to Bradley Beal (hamstring) and Grayson Allen (foot) have been offset nicely by Dunn, who made his fourth consecutive start. Over the four appearances, Dunn averaged 15.5 points, 4.8 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.0 assists. The 2024 first-round pick has managed to eke out 32 starts with the team, but he's yet to score more than 18 points this season. The rookie out of Virginia will take a back seat when Beal and Allen return, but he should be a valuable development player heading into next season.

  • Suns' Nick Richards: Flirts with double-double

Richards notched 18 points (8-16 FG, 2-2 FT), nine rebounds, two assists and three blocks over 28 minutes during Wednesday's 127-121 win over the Bulls.

Richards' move to Phoenix has generally yielded positive results, and he's broken free from the platoon situation that limited his minutes. The center has averaged 9.1 rebounds per game since joining the Suns, providing integral interior support that was lacking when Jusuf Nurkic was the starter earlier in the season.

  • Suns' Devin Booker: Shines with 41 points in win

Booker chipped in 41 points (14-26 FG, 6-12 3Pt, 7-7 FT), four rebounds and seven assists over 36 minutes during Wednesday's 127-121 victory over the Bulls.

Booker scored 20 of his 41 points in the fourth quarter, effectively negating a late rally from the Bulls. The much-needed win put the Suns back in 10th place in the West, increasing their odds to make the postseason. Sustained production from Booker and Kevin Durant is necessary to keep them there, and Booker will need more nights like Wednesday to maximize Phoenix's chances. The standout guard has regressed on occasion recently, with two 19-point games that fell well below his usual results. He's scored above 30 points only twice during the month of March.

  • Suns' Mason Plumlee: Won't play against Chicago

Plumlee is out for Wednesday's game versus the Bulls due to a left quadriceps strain.

Plumlee will miss his first game since Nov. 15 due to a quadriceps injury. In the veteran big man's absence, Nick Richards and Oso Ighodaro could receive increased playing time. Plumlee's next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with Cleveland.

  • Suns' Grayson Allen: Another absence coming

Allen (foot) won't play in Wednesday's game versus the Bulls.

Allen's absence streak will extend to five games Wednesday due to a sprained left foot. His next chance to suit up is Friday's matchup with Cleveland.

  • Suns' TyTy Washington: Plays six minutes Monday

Washington finished Monday's 129-89 victory over Toronto with three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and three assists over six minutes.

Washington was used sparingly again Monday, playing no more than six minutes for the 16th straight game, 10 of which he has failed to leave the bench. His appearance here was simply due to the fact the Suns were in complete control, ultimately winning the game by 40 points.

  • Suns' Damion Lee: Rare appearance in win

Lee provided two points (1-1 FG) and one assist across six minutes during Monday's 129-89 victory over the Raptors.

Lee was back in the rotation for just the second time in the past eight games, making an appearance during garbage time. To this point, Lee has suited up on just 18 occasions all season, averaging 3.3 points in 6.0 minutes per contest.

  • Suns' Collin Gillespie: Quiet in first career start

Gillespie closed Monday's 129-89 victory over the Raptors with three points (1-4 FG, 1-3 3Pt), two rebounds, two assists and one block across 16 minutes.

Gillespie was handed a starting role for the first time in his young career, filling in for Bradley Beal who has been ruled out for at least a week due to a hamstring injury. While it was interesting that Gillespie got the starting nod over Tyus Jones, the latter played more minutes. It is unclear whether Gillespie will hold onto his spot but we should expect to see Jones handling more of the responsibilities given the Suns need to win as many games as possible moving forward.

  • Suns' Collin Gillespie: Starting sans Beal

Gillespie will start in Monday's game against Toronto.

The two-way combo guard will draw his first career start due to Bradley Beal (hamstring) being sidelined. Gillespie has made 10 consecutive appearances for the Suns, during which he has averaged 3.7 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists across 9.9 minutes per contest.

  • Suns' Cody Martin: Cleared to play Monday

Martin (sports hernia) is available for Monday's game against Toronto.

Martin will suit up for his second consecutive contest following a 24-game absence to the sports hernia. The 29-year-old guard made his return in Sunday's loss to the Lakers, during which he posted three points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds and one block across eight minutes.

  • Suns' Monte Morris: Available Monday

Morris (back) is available for Monday's game against the Raptors.

It'll be Morris' first appearance since Feb. 8 due to a back injury, so he could be operating under a minutes restriction. Bradley Beal (hamstring) and Grayson Allen (foot) are both sidelined, so Morris should still see some action as a reserve alongside Tyus Jones.

  • Suns' Nick Richards: Good to go Monday

Richards (ankle) is available for Monday's game against the Raptors.

Richards has been cleared to play despite being listed on the injury report with an ankle sprain. He's averaging 12.2 points and 7.8 rebounds over six March appearances.

  • Suns' Bradley Beal: Out at least one week

Beal (hamstring) will be re-evaluated in one week, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

Beal had already been downgraded to out for Monday's matchup against the Raptors, and this update effectively rules Beal out for two additional games. Ryan Dunn and Tyus Jones will presumably be asked to pick up slack until Beal is cleared to return to the hardwood.

  • Suns' Nick Richards: Expected to play

Richards (ankle) is probable for Monday's game against the Raptors.

After playing 19 minutes against the Lakers on Sunday, Richards appears likely to play through this minor sprain. The center is averaging 13.8 points, 7.8 rebounds and 0.6 blocks over his last five outings.

  • Suns' Cody Martin: Probable Monday

Martin (sports hernia) is probable for Monday's game against the Raptors.

Following nearly a two-month absence, Martin returned to action Sunday and tallied three points (1-3 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds and one block across eight minutes during a 107-96 loss to the Lakers. After a small workload, he'll likely be available for the second half of Phoenix's back-to-back set and should remain part of the rotation, as Grayson Allen (foot) and Bradley Beal (hamstring) both remain out.
