Heat's Pelle Larsson: Questionable for Saturday
Larsson is questionable to play Saturday against the Kings due to tightness in his right hip flexor, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Tyler Herro (toe) is doubtful for Saturday's game and Davion Mitchell (groin) is questionable, so the Heat's backcourt could be very thin Saturday night. If none of these guys can play, Dru Smith and Jamie Jaquez could see major minutes as starters.

Heat's Davion Mitchell: Questionable for Saturday
Mitchell is questionable for Saturday's game versus Sacramento due to groin tightness, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
The Heat have a matchup with the 5-17 Kings on the second leg of a back-to-back set, so Mitchell may take the night off. Miami won't host a shootaround Saturday, so Mitchell will essentially be a game-time call, and if he can't give it a go, Dru Smith could see major minutes as a starter.

Heat's Norman Powell: Expected to play Saturday
Powell (ankle) is probable for Saturday's game against the Kings, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Powell tweaked his left ankle during Friday's loss to the Magic, but he finished the game, racking up 28 points (9-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-11 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one block across 32 minutes, and will likely be back in action during the second half of Miami's back-to-back set. The ankle injury caused the veteran to miss Wednesday's loss in Dallas, so while it appears to be a minor issue, it's something worth monitoring.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Doubtful for Saturday
An MRI confirmed a right toe contusion for Herro and he is being listed as doubtful for Saturday's game versus Sacramento, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
It appears that Herro will be missing his second straight game Saturday night, which will create more opportunity for Jamie Jaquez, Pelle Larsson and Dru Smith. The good news is that Herro isn't dealing with anything more than a bruised toe, and after Saturday's game, the Heat are off until Tuesday, giving Herro plenty of time to rest up.

Heat's Bam Adebayo: Double-doubles with four stocks
Adebayo contributed 24 points (9-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-6 FT), 15 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals over 40 minutes during Friday's 106-105 loss to Orlando.
Adebayo dominated on the glass, setting a new season high in rebounds as he helped the Heat win the battle of the boards 44-42. Adebayo has now scored 20-plus in three straight games, and he'll look to make it four in a row Saturday versus Sacramento.

Heat's Norman Powell: Scores 28 points on 18 shots
Powell racked up 28 points (9-18 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 8-11 FT), three rebounds, four assists and one block across 32 minutes during Friday's 106-105 loss to the Magic.
Powell tweaked his left ankle during this game, and while he was able to play through it, it wouldn't be shocking to see him pop up on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game versus Sacramento. If Powell does need to sit out the second leg of this back-to-back set, Jaime Jaquez, Pelle Larsson and Dru Smith would likely see a boost in minutes.

Heat's Davion Mitchell: Hands out seven dimes
Mitchell accumulated 10 points (5-8 FG), two rebounds and seven assists over 28 minutes during Friday's 106-105 loss to the Magic.
Mitchell was limited to just four points on 2-for-7 shooting his last time out, but he surpassed that point total within his first eight minutes of play in this one. This was Mitchell's second straight game with zero turnovers, and he's committed a total of two over his past four outings.

Heat's Pelle Larsson: Headed to bench
Larsson will come off the bench for Friday's game against the Magic, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
The Heat will be going with a jumbo lineup featuring Kel'el Ware and Bam Adebayo in the frontcourt for Friday's game, but Larsson should still see quality minutes in the rotation with Tyler Herro (toe) unavailable. Larsson is averaging 9.4 points, 3.4 assists and 1.1 triples per contest this season.

Heat's Kel'el Ware: Starting Friday
Ware will start against the Magic on Friday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
After coming off the bench in four straight games, Ware will return to the first unit against Orlando. In 14 starts this season, the second-year center has averaged 12.9 points, 11.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks across 26.7 minutes per contest.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Won't play Friday
Herro (toe) won't play in Friday's game against the Magic, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Herro was downgraded to doubtful Friday morning, so his absence doesn't come as much of a surprise. The 25-year-old guard is set to have an MRI on his toe Saturday, and we should have more clarity regarding the severity of the injury afterward. Miami plays Sacramento on Saturday night.

Heat's Norman Powell: Returning to action Friday
Powell (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Magic, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Powell was initially listed as questionable but will return to action Friday after missing Wednesday's loss to the Mavericks. With Tyler Herro (toe) sidelined, Powell may see increased usage Friday, and it's unclear if either guard will suit up during the second half of Miami's weekend back-to-back set against the Kings on Saturday. Over his last 14 appearances, Powell has averaged 25.2 points, 2.9 rebounds, 2.3 assists and 1.1 steals in 30.5 minutes.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Downgraded to doubtful
Herro (toe) has been downgraded to doubtful for Friday's game against the Magic, Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald reports.
Herro was initially listed as questionable but is now unlikely to play Friday due to a toe injury. He's slated to undergo an MRI, so there appears to be some concern brewing. For now, the star guard can be considered day-to-day, but it seems unlikely he'd be able to play in the second half of Miami's weekend back-to-back set against the Kings on Saturday. Norman Powell (ankle) has been upgraded to available, but with Herro likely out, Pelle Larsson figures to stick in the starting lineup for at least one more game.

Heat's Kasparas Jakucionis: Back to G League
Jakucionis was assigned to the G League's Sioux Falls Skyforce on Thursday, Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Jakucionis was recalled to the NBA club Monday and saw one minute of action against the Clippers, logging one steal and hoisting up a pair of shots during his brief stint. He'll return to the G League, where he'll presumably see more opportunities to stay sharp.

Heat's Norman Powell: Questionable for Friday
Powell (ankle) is questionable to play Friday in Orlando.
Powell missed Wednesday's loss to the Mavericks due to the ankle issue, and it looks like he might skip Friday's game as well, with it coming as the first of a back-to-back set. If both Powell and Tyler Herro (toe) are out, Jaime Jaquez might be able to start, and Bam Adebayo would see a ton of shots falling his way.

Heat's Tyler Herro: Questionable for Friday
Herro is questionable for Friday's game in Orlando due to irritation in his right big toe.
Herro has been excellent since coming back from ankle surgery, but the Heat may opt to hold him out of his first back-to-back set with his toe acting up. If Herro does need to hit the sidelines, that would open up minutes for Pelle Larsson, Dru Smith and Jaime Jaquez.

Heat's Kel'el Ware: Big double-double off bench
Ware posted 22 points (8-11 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 10 rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in 25 minutes during Wednesday's 118-108 loss to the Mavericks.
Ware turned in a double-double, his ninth in 2025-26, while stuffing the stat sheet. The second-year center's fantasy upside is capped by the presence of Bam Adebayo, though Ware has been very productive with averages of 14.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 steals in 26.2 minutes per contest in his last 10 games.

Heat's Dru Smith: Fills stat sheet in loss
Smith provided eight points (2-4 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 3-3 FT), four rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 18 minutes during Wednesday's 118-108 loss to the Mavericks.
Smith has been a rather impactful piece for Miami off the bench (especially on the defensive end), averaging 6.8 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.4 assists, 1.5 steals and 0.5 blocks across 18.0 minutes in his last eight games. Smith will likely continue to back up Davion Mitchell.
