Dodgers' Nick Senzel: Remaining in LA
Senzel signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Monday, which includes an invitation to spring training, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.
Senzel will open camp with the big-league club, though he failed to appear in a major-league game a season ago. Instead, he spent 96 games with Triple-A Oklahoma City, posting a .252/.341/.408 slash line with 12 home runs, 62 RBI, seven stolen bases and 51 runs scored.

Dodgers' Wyatt Mills: Lands deal with LAD
Mills signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Monday, which includes an invitation to spring training, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.
Mills is searching for a return to the major leagues after missing significant time while rehabbing from Tommy John surgery. He returned to the bump a season ago pitching for Triple-A Worcester, posting a 3.12 ERA and 1.29 WHIP with a 49:30 K:BB across 52.0 innings (seven starts). Mills will have the chance to compete for a bullpen slot after signing on with LA.

Dodgers' Josue De Paula: Beginning ST with big-league club
De Paula will open spring training with the major-league team, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.
De Paula appeared in 98 games with High-A Great Lakes a season ago, slashing .261/.402/.414 with 12 home runs, 43 RBI, 32 stolen bases and 65 runs scored before getting a taste of Double-A Tulsa for four games. He'll get an opportunity to compete against big-league talent at least for the first part of camp before presumably getting ready to begin the 2026 campaign at Double-A.

Dodgers' Zyhir Hope: Invited to big-league camp
Hope was invited to major-league spring training, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.
Hope will open spring training with the big-league club for a second straight season. As one of LA's top prospects, he spent 121 games at High-A Great Lakes a season ago but finished out the 2025 campaign at Double-A Tulsa (six games). It would make sense for the 21-year-old to open the 2026 season at Double-A after gaining valuable experience against big-league arms to start camp.

Dodgers' Jordan Weems: Inks deal with LAD
Weems agreed to a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Monday, which includes an invitation to spring training, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.
Weems spent the majority of his time a season ago with Triple-A Sugar Land, though he briefly appeared in the big leagues, where he was rocked for seven runs in 4.1 innings of work. He'll compete for a spot in LA's bullpen after putting pen to paper on a minor-league deal Monday.

Dodgers' Seby Zavala: Latches on with LAD
Zavala signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Monday, which includes an invitation to spring training, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.
Zavala is one of several signings that was kept under the radar until the Dodgers disclosed their list of non-roster invitees to spring training. The backstop was in contention to make the Opening Day roster a season ago with Boston, but he ultimately fell short and spent the entire 2025 campaign at Triple-A, where he hit .165 with eight home runs, 25 RBI, two stolen bases and 28 runs scored over 67 games.

Dodgers' Ben Casparius: Building up as starting pitcher
Casparius said Saturday at DodgerFest, the team's fan event, that he prepared himself as a starting pitcher this offseason, Steve Webb of DodgersBeat.com reports.
Casparius wore many hats for the Dodgers in 2025, making starts, bulk relief appearances, long relief outings and high-leverage appearances. He finished with a 4.64 ERA and 71:21 K:BB over 77.2 regular-season frames. Slated to turn 27 later this week, Casparius is a long shot to open 2026 in the rotation, given the Dodgers' other options that are ahead of him on the depth chart, but he'll stay stretched out just in case.

Dodgers' Anthony Banda: Removed from 40-man roster
The Dodgers designated Banda for assignment Friday.
The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for Ben Rortvedt, who was claimed off waivers. Banda holds a 3.14 ERA and 111:52 K:BB over 114.2 regular-season innings during his time with the Dodgers, but the club has several other left-handed relief options. He is likely to be claimed off waivers.

Dodgers' Ben Rortvedt: Claimed by Dodgers
The Dodgers claimed Rortvedt off waivers from the Reds on Friday.
Rortvedt went from the Dodgers to the Reds via waivers in November and is now headed back in the other direction. The glove-first catcher is a career .190/.279/.270 hitter over parts of four major-league seasons. Rortvedt does not have minor-league options remaining, and with Will Smith and Dalton Rushing already on the roster, the Dodgers might try to slip Rortvedt through waivers again.

Dodgers' Blake Snell: Could begin season on injured list
Snell could begin the season on the injured list due to lingering shoulder issues, Jack Harris of the California Post reports.
Snell missed most of the first four months of last season with left shoulder inflammation. He pitched well down the stretch of the regular season and in the first three rounds of the playoffs before stumbling in the World Series. Snell remains hopeful of being ready for Opening Day, and if he does require an IL stint it seems it would be more about preserving him over the long haul rather than the southpaw actually being injured. The Dodgers are likely to deploy a six-man rotation again and have the depth to slow-play Snell, if that's the route they decide to take.

Dodgers' Andy Ibanez: Designated for assignment
The Dodgers designated Ibanez for assignment Tuesday.
The 32-year-old inked a one-year, $1.2 million contract with the Dodgers in early January, but his stay on the big-league roster didn't even last a month. Ibanez posted a .653 OPS in 91 regular-season games for Detroit last season, but his career .280/.327/.452 slash line versus lefties could garner some interest on the waiver wire.

Dodgers' Michael Siani: Heading back to Dodgers
The Dodgers claimed Siani off waivers from the Yankees on Tuesday.
Siani went from the Dodgers to the Yankees via waivers in January and is now headed back in the other direction. The slick-fielding center fielder is a career .221/.277/.270 hitter at the big-league level and will likely begin the season at Triple-A Oklahoma City if he's still in the Dodgers organization at that point.

Dodgers' River Ryan: Packs on weight over winter
Ryan (elbow) said Saturday that he added 30 pounds over the offseason in hopes of increasing his durability, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Ryan believes his relatively slight build contributed to the Tommy John surgery that knocked him out for the entirety of the 2025 season. While rehabbing that injury, Ryan "ate a lot of calories" and "lifted like an animal," which resulted in his weight going from 195 to 225. Ryan said he's had a normal offseason, having already thrown 10 bullpen sessions and touched triple digits on the radar run. The 27-year-old is unlikely to be on the Dodgers' Opening Day roster, but he could be a key rotation depth piece. Ryan held a 1.33 ERA and 18:9 K:BB over 20.1 innings covering four starts for the Dodgers in 2024.

Dodgers' Mookie Betts: 'Rewiring' body after down 2025
Betts said Saturday that he's spent the offseason "rewiring" his body after falling into bad habits during a down season offensively in 2025, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Betts' .318 wOBA last season was easily the worst of his career. The cause of his regression at the plate, Betts believes, was twofold: the preparation for becoming a full-time shortstop threw off his normal routine, and an early-season stomach virus that caused him to lose 20 pounds sapped his strength and led to bad habits. Betts said he's now "in a really good spot" as he looks to bounce back in 2026 in his age-33 campaign. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts indicated over the weekend that "you could certainly see" Betts batting third this season behind Shohei Ohtani and Kyle Tucker, though nothing is set in stone yet in regard to the lineup.

Dodgers' Cole Irvin: Lands MiLB deal with Dodgers
Irvin agreed to a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Sunday, Aram Leighton of JustBaseball.com reports.
The left-hander spent the 2025 campaign pitching with the Doosan Bears of the Korea Baseball Organization, where he had a 4.48 ERA across 144.2 innings. Irvin has posted a 4.54 ERA across 134 appearances in the big leagues and should serve as rotation depth for the Dodgers in 2026.

Dodgers' Shohei Ohtani: Prepping for full season in two-way role
Ohtani indicated Saturday that he'll be ready to take on a full two-way role at the outset of the 2026 regular season, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.
Ohtani began last year continuing to rehab from September 2023 Tommy John surgery and didn't pitch in a major-league game until mid-June. He was managed carefully upon his return to the mound, as he finished the regular season with a modest 47 innings over 14 starts. The superstar was very effective as a hurler, though, posting a 2.87 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 62:9 K:BB during those appearances. The leash was loosened in the postseason, as Ohtani completed six frames in each of his first three playoff outings and then started Game 7 of the World Series on three days of rest. After getting through the summer and fall with no arm issues, Ohtani is now set to slot into the Dodgers' rotation from the outset of the 2026 campaign. There will likely still be some careful management of Ohtani as a pitcher -- manager Dave Roberts stated Saturday that the two-way star won't pitch for Japan in the World Baseball Classic, and he's expected to continue to be part of a six-man rotation with Los Angeles -- but Roberts also said that Ohtani will be treated as a normal pitcher on days when he takes the mound.
