  • Noah Brown WR | HOU

Texans' Noah Brown: Gets green light for camp

Brown (shoulder) doesn't have an injury designation and has been fully cleared for the start of training camp Thursday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Brown missed the Texans' divisional-round playoff loss to the Ravens in January with a shoulder injury and eventually required offseason surgery to repair a torn labrum. The wideout has completed the recovery process and looks like he'll enter camp without any restrictions. Though staying healthy proved difficult for Brown, he was a productive secondary target in the Houston passing attack when available in 2023, finishing the regular season with 33 catches for 567 yards and two touchdowns on 55 targets over 10 games.

  • Zach Tom OT | GB

Packers' Zach Tom: Starts camp on PUP list

The Packers placed Tom (pectoral) on the active/PUP list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Tom has been rehabbing his pec most of the offseason and isn't yet ready for contact. He started all 19 games, including the playoffs, last season and is penned is as the Packers' top right tackle for 2024.

  • Kitan Oladapo SAF | GB

Packers' Kitan Oladapo: Starting camp on NFI list

The Packers placed Oladapo (toe) on the active/NFI list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The fifth-round rookie was in a walking boot last month after breaking his toe at the combine and had said he planned to be ready for training camp. He's likely close to 100 percent, but the Packers want to give Oladapo a little more time. He can be activated at any time this summer.

  • Bears' Kiran Amegadjie: Starting camp on NFI list

The Bears placed Amegadjie (quadriceps) on the active/NFI list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Amegadjie was injured prior to the NFL Draft earlier this offseason and missed all of OTAs and minicamp after the Bears took him in the third round at No. 75 overall. It's hard to envision Amegadjie pushing Braxton Jones or Darnell Wright for a starting job this summer after all of the missed reps.

  • Texans' Del'Shawn Phillips: Starting camp on PUP

The Texans placed Phillips (shoulder) on the active/PUP list Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The 27-year-old played in all 17 regular-season games for Baltimore last season, but he missed both playoff contests with a shoulder injury that apparently still isn't 100 percent healthy. Phillips signed a one-year deal with Houston in the offseason and will serve as a depth linebacker while filling a key role on special teams.

  • D'Angelo Ross CB | HOU

Texans' D'Angelo Ross: Opens camp on PUP list

The Texans placed Ross on the active/PUP list Wednesday with an undisclosed injury, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The 27-year-old appeared in 13 games for Houston in 2023, serving as a key fixture on the Texans' special-teams units, where he played 258 snaps. The reserve defensive back is eligible to be activated from the PUP list once he's deemed ready to practice.

  • LaDarius Henderson: Waived by Houston

The Texans waived Henderson with a non-football injury designation Wednesday while he's scheduled to undergo foot surgery last this week, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

The Texans selected Henderson in the seventh round of April's draft, but the offensive lineman from Michigan won't even make it to training camp with Houston. If he clears waivers, the Texans would have the ability to place Henderson on injured reserve.

  • Laremy Tunsil OT | HOU

Texans' Laremy Tunsil: Healthy for start of camp

Tunsil (knee) is fully healthy for the start of training camp, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.

Tunsil underwent an offseason knee scope in February, which typically comes with a recovery timeline of 4-to-6 weeks. With Tunsil now well removed from surgery, he's expected to be available to participate in preseason games, even if the Texans take it slow with their starting left tackle early in training camp.

  • Joe Thuney OG | KC

Chiefs' Joe Thuney: Opens camp on active/PUP

The Chiefs placed Thuney (pectoral) on the active/PUP list Wednesday.

After getting injured during the divisional round of the playoffs last season, Thuney missed the AFC Championship and the Super Bowl for Kansas City. Head coach Andy Reid had previously said that Thuney is expected to be cleared to play in advance of the Chiefs' Week 1 game against Baltimore. He's eligible to be activated from the PUP list at any time this summer.

  • Spencer Brown OT | BUF

Bills' Spencer Brown: Had offseason shoulder surgery

Brown revealed Wednesday that he underwent offseason shoulder surgery but will be ready for the start of training camp next week, Ryan O'Halloran of The Buffalo News reports.

Brown didn't miss a game in 2023, playing all 1,161 offensive snaps during the regular season. It was the first time the 26-year-old made it through a fully healthy campaign, though it's obvious he was playing a bit banged up. Brown is locked in atop the depth chart at right tackle for Buffalo.
