    Spencer logged 13 points (5-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), five rebounds, seven assists and four steals across 27 minutes of Wednesday's 96-85 win over the Cavaliers in Summer League.

    Spencer tied for the team high in assists Wednesday while committing only one turnover. He was also active defensively, logging four steals. The 28-year-old will be on a two-way contract this season for Golden State but will likely spend most of his time with the team's G League affiliate.

  • Lakers' Colin Castleton: Stuffs stat sheet in SL

    Castleton logged 17 points (8-9 FG, 1-1 FT), 12 rebounds, six assists and two steals across 24 minutes of Wednesday's 87-86 win over Atlanta in Summer League.

    Castleton flashed his versatile skill set, dishing out six assists while posting a double-double. The second-year pro did turn the ball over five times, but he led the Lakers in scoring, and four of his 12 rebounds came on the offensive glass. Castleton served on a two-way contract last season for the Lakers and averaged 3.7 minutes across 16 regular-season NBA appearances.

    Hawks' Mouhamed Gueye: Early exit Wednesday

    Gueye has been ruled out for the remainder of Wednesday's Summer League game against the Lakers due to a hip contusion.

    Gueye put up 10 points, three rebounds and an assist in 16 minutes and knocked down two of his three attempts from long range before exiting the contest. The big man's next chance to play will come Friday.

    Suns' David Roddy: Drops 21 points in Summer League

    Roddy logged 21 points (7-13 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 3-3 FT), six rebounds, five assists a steal and a block over 28 minutes of Wednesday's 100-99 Summer League win over the Thunder.

    Roddy was fouled while attempting a game-winning three-pointer with less than a second left and sunk all three free throws to vault the Suns to victory. Roddy was dealt to Phoenix at the trade deadline last season and didn't play more than 10 minutes in a game with the Suns. Similarly, Roddy is expected to be a fringe rotation piece in 2024-25.

    Rockets' Cam Whitmore: Shut down for Summer League

    Whitmore won't play during the rest of Summer League, Kelly Iko of The Athletic reports.

    Whitmore has been one of the top performers at Summer League and will turn his focus to getting ready for the regular season after appearing in three games in Las Vegas. The high-flying 20-year-old logged 47 games played with the Rockets as a rookie, averaging 12.3 points and 3.8 rebounds across 18.7 minutes.

  • Grizzlies' Scotty Pippen: Another standout showing

    Pippen recorded 25 points (9-14 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 6-7 FT), nine assists, four rebounds and a steal during Wednesday's 104-98 win over the Magic in Summer League.

    Pippen has turned some heads during his third Summer League stint and is certainly making a case to be the Grizzlies' backup point guard behind Ja Morant. Pippen and GG Jackson combined for 52 of Memphis' 104 points, while Pippen's nine assists led the team.

    Grizzlies' Zach Edey: Won't miss all of SL

    Edey (ankle) didn't play in Wednesday's 104-98 win over the Magic but is expected to return before the end of Summer League, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.

    Edey sprained his ankle during Salt Lake City Summer League and hasn't suited up in a little over one week. The Grizzlies have indicated the injury is minor, and they're just being cautious with the ninth overall pick. Still, the expectation is that he'll be back before Summer League ends. Edey's next chance to play will be Thursday against New Orleans.

  • Celtics' Baylor Scheierman: Scores 12 points in Summer League

    Scheierman logged 12 points (3-10 FG, 1-8 3Pt, 5-8 FT), six rebounds, two assists and two steals across 29 minutes of Wednesday's 89-84 win over the Hornets in Summer League.

    Even with an off night from three-point land, Scheierman was able to make a positive impact Wednesday. He led the Celtics in rebounds and was one of four players to score in double figures. However, he isn't likely to factor into the Celtics nightly rotation during regular-season play.

    Hawks' Dylan Windler: Missing Summer League game

    Windler (elbow) won't play in Wednesday's Summer League game against the Lakers, John Hollinger of The Athletic reports.

    The specifics of Windler's injury are unknown, but he'll be kept out of Wednesday's contest. Over two Summer League games, Windler is averaging 9.0 points and 10.0 rebounds across 28.5 minutes

    Lakers' Moses Brown: Battling illness

    Brown won't play in Friday's Summer League game against Atlanta due to illness, Mike Trudell of Spectrum SportsNet reports.

    Brown is feeling under the weather and will sit out the opening leg of a back-to-back set for the Summer League Lakers. The 24-year-old's next chance to play will come Thursday against Cleveland.
